Job Purpose

The HSE Supervisor is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and management of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace within the medical sector. This role involves assisting with risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety among all employees.

Technical Accountabilities

  1. Assist in maintaining an effective health and safety management system.
  2. Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements and industry’s best practices.
  3. Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans and conducting drills to ensure preparedness.
  4. Support the investigation of accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  5. Assist in developing and delivering HSE training programs to educate employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
  6. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Prepare and present detailed reports on HSE performance, including incident statistics and audit findings.
  8. Work closely with other departments to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of operations.
  9. Stay updated on new regulations and industry trends to continuously improve HSE practices.

Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's)

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of Previous Market experience in similar roles
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.

 

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
    knowledge of the company’s services to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
  • Good English and Arabic skills (reading, writing and spoken).
