Job Purpose
The HSE Section Head is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace within the medical sector. This role involves risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees.
Technical Accountabilities
- Maintain an effective health and safety management system.
- Enforce HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs to educate employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on HSE performance, including incident statistics and audit findings.
- Work closely with other departments to integrate HSE considerations into all aspects of operations.
- Stay updated on new regulations and industry trends to continuously improve HSE practices.

Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's)
- A bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety.
- Minimum 5-7 years of Previous Market experience in similar roles
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and lead a team effectively.
- knowledge of the company’s services to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Good English and Arabic skills (reading, writing and spoken).
