Title:  X-ray technician - Mohandeseen

Job Purpose

Performs diagnostic images, reports and updates patients' records to assist in patient examination.

Technical Accountabilities

1. Position patients on examination table, explain the procedures, and ensure patients' comfort.
2. Monitor patients during examinations, ensure their safety, and follow procedures to prevent unnecessary prolonged duration of examination.
3. Perform daily quality control check for equipment in the beginning of the day before patient examinations
4. Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the Physician, and update the patients' records.
5. Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast and detect any artifacts
6. Record examination start and end time for utilization review.
7. Follow center’s policies and procedures.

Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's)

• Science bachelor’s degree - Bio-physics Section
• Experience from 1 to 3 years
• Professional skills in Arabic and English language both spoken and written
• Professional communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Strong PC skills in MS office and preferable SAP experience.
